For this Healthy Fast Food Thursday, we remind you that Superfoods are those foods with the highest concentrations of nutrients and antioxidants. They are foods we need to eat daily for optimal health, well-being and body weight.

The Apple Tree ~
Every garden should have an apple tree. Not only are they productive but they are beautiful in flower, leaf and fruit with silvery bark on branches that become ever more gnarled and characterful with age.
If you have been following our entries, you know that apples are superb for great health all-around. Again, from our Superfoods kitchen list last Saturday: apples help protect our bodies from heart disease, degenerative brain diseases like the tragic Alzheimer’s, improves lung capacity to help us combat asthma, helps reverse arthritis, and reduces our risk of prostate, colon and lung cancers.
Do eat an apple a day to keep those doctors away!
