Deadly Aspartame...Diet-Coke anyone?
An important reminder:
The average American consumed 32 teaspoons of added sugar per day in 1996. Can you imagine what that number adds up to today? It never ceases to amaze me when I see a kid drinking Coke, Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, Mountain Dew(!) to name a few toxic cocktails kids ingest these days. WHY do you think the astounding growth rate of behavioral problems, diabetes and many other diseases in America is out of control?
Most people know that refined sugar is bad for our bodies and brains. Do you know anyone who has decided to take all refined sugar out of their diet? I have met two people in the last few years who did and told me the result was an initial and strong reaction which included terrible headaches, uncontrollable shaking...essentially hardcore detoxification. After the detox and after they were 'clean' for awhile, the next time they had a soft drink or candy their bodies reacted with repulsion...bad headaches, stomach aches, etc.
Many people, in order to avoid sugar, decide to feed their sweet tooth with chemicals instead. If you are addicted to diet, low cal drinks and sweeteners, educate yourself. Know what you are doing to your body. The artificial sweetener Aspartame has been the subject of heated controversy. If you are ingesting this chemical daily, you need to understand what it is you are putting into your body! Get informed. Form your own opinion. It is your life!
