Living in the moments
Time flies. Exactly nine years ago today, I started the last leg of my journey to California. On September 11, 2001 I was heading to Miami International with my brother Brian, my mom and my two kids when we heard over the radio that a plane flew into the World Trade Center. I figured it was an accident...a little plane.
It took about three weeks for us to catch a flight from the east coast to the west coast, but I finally got a ride with my sister who we dropped off in Texas to get her husband ready for a flight back to Florida....Jeffrey (her husband, my bro in law) passed away a few days later.
This day has become a time when mostly every American considers for a moment where they were or what they were doing when they heard the news, as I do.
I hope the moments you consider today, put life into a good perspective for you.
Keep showing up. Focus on your actions, the results will follow. Focus on the positive stuff.
Time also flies when you are having fun. Today ends our 6week eat2live challenge. For me, my family and most of the people I know who have started eating in this healthier way ~ we have only begun. It is no longer a challenge but the way we choose to eat now. We hope and expect you feel the same way.
Thanks for doing the challenge with us. If you know anyone who wants to do it with us again...just tell them to start here (in this journal) back on August 1, 2010 and then follow us for the next 6 weeks - daily.
We would love to hear from you ~ would you follow a 3 month weight loss regime through our journal plus daily instructions on getting seriously ripped or could you care less? Let us know (post your vote below.) Thank YOU!
