Tribute to a Champion ~ Andy Irons...Aloha
Few people touch the lives of so many in such a short amount of time. Andy Irons left this earth too soon, at 32 years old and a month before his first child was due to come into this world.
The world of surfing is mourning the death of Andy Irons. Very sadly, he died alone on Tuesday, November 2nd, in a hotel in Dallas, waiting to go home to Hawaii. He was returning from Puerto Rico where he had to drop out of the Rip Curl Pro Search Competition because he had caught the viral illness, dengue fever.
